Automated "No-Update" Exception Report for Stalled Shipments

Our current tracking is reactive, forcing us to wait for customer complaints when deliveries are late. Major pain point is not knowing when a parcel is stuck at a carrier depot (DC) for days without updates.
Need a proactive alert system to solve this.
Customizable Delay Alerts: Set rules to trigger alerts if a shipment has no movement/scan at a key checkpoint (e.g., "At Depot") for a defined period (e.g., 2-3 days). This allows us to intervene with the carrier and customer before a complaint arises.
Daily "No-Update" Exception Report: An automated report listing all shipments that did not receive a tracking scan/update from the carrier on the previous business day (Monday-Friday). This would serve as a daily checklist for shipments potentially at risk of delay.
